It’s worth registering your interest with us so we’ll have information at our fingertips about your organisation and your capabilities when we source suppliers. You’ll also have access to e-learning (coming soon). We hope that being easy to connect with can help pave the way toward recovery and growth for our local communities in these challenging times.

What it means to be a registered supplier

Being a registered supplier means that we have your organisation’s details and capabilities when we source suppliers. The market knowledge we gain when you register will factor into some market engagement decisions. Being a registered supplier doesn’t mean you’ll have preferential treatment, but it’s a foot in the door.

What happens next

To start with, we’ll review the information you share with us and make sure we understand it all. We may contact you for more information or clarification. Then we’ll approve your registration of interest and provide you with a secure log-in so you can update your details at any time, and access eLearning modules (coming soon).

We’ll share your information within Council, so when we need to source new suppliers, we can identify our best approach and options.

We may contact you and invite you to bid for work; note this is not guaranteed. If you’d like to know more about how we source suppliers, see our Working with us page.

We’ll continue to invite suppliers to bid for work using the same channels as before; tenders that are openly advertised will be posted on the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS), and other tender invitations (that are not openly advertised) will be emailed to selected suppliers.
